16 day tour why go to Tassie in 2012?

This 16 day tour is being organised by David and Aileen Chaffey and Graeme and Norma Barwick with preliminary planning under way.

Bulk discount booking

A bulk discount booking is planned to be made on the Spirit of Tasmania to:
         depart Melbourne on Thursday 3rd May 2012
         and arrive in Tasmania on Friday 4th May.

All mainland entrants will need to be in Melbourne on Thursday 3rd May to board their Buicks and themselves on the Spirit of Tasmania for the overnight trip to arrive in Devonport on Friday 4th for a tour across Tasmania to overnight in Hobart where a display of all the Buicks will be held on the lawns of Parliament House on Saturday 5th May.

 Participants need to book their accommodation and trips at Strahan but the credit card will not be processed until the day of the tour.

 Organisers will need an indication if you wish to go on the various excursions - e.g. boat ride, tuna fishing, Port Arthur tour, Clarendon House, etc. but payment is not required until 31st March.

 Registration Fee

The Registration fee can be paid now and taken as a deposit with the balance payable after Christmas but required by 31st March 2012.

Your registration fee includes welcoming nibblies and some drinks at Wrest Point Casino, your first breakfast in Tassie at the Edgewater Motel, trophies (we will have up to 20 high quality trophies including some for overseas guests  - we are expecting 3 couples from USA), a cast car badge to commemorate your Tasmanian Nationals, group photo, freebies bag with Tasmanian memento. 

PLEASE IGNORE REFERENCE TO FREYCINET LODGE ON THE FEDERAL PAGE.  Alternative cheaper accommodation has been located in Swansea.
